How did you first get interested in what you do?
I began making soap in 1999 as a creative outlet and destresser (is that a word?). It was fun, and soon became an obsession. I started selling soap soon after the birth of my daughter in 2002. I wanted to be there for my daughter as she grew and my soap business allowed me to continue to be creative, bring in money and have a sense of autonomy which i craved. I love what I do. I make a fantastic, luxurious product line that I am proud of and my business has continued to grow.
Who is your favorite artist?
Artist? That is difficult as I can't narrow it down. There are so many mediums, so many artists! i love paintings and i'm a huge fan of textiles. oh and pottery!
